Lots of people asked why are we changing.

A we were in Hax8lrtr we evolved, our product evolved and our vision of the world we want to see evolved together with us.

Beyond growing

We talked to many of you and realized that there is more to gardening than just growing food. That the emotions it brings with it its something much deeper and reaches all the way to the core of being a human being. Growing your own food not only means that you will have freshest food to eat and help environment but it also brings the feelings of happiness, joy, peace and being centered.

We do not want to just sell growing boxes. We want to inspire and enable happier, simpler, fuller life.

We believe that  technology and design enable us to create solutions within our current context and make them fit seamlessly into our lifestyle.

The name Growot did not reflect that part of the vision of our first product. We do not only want people to start growing their own food but we want them to do it in a fun and interactive way, we want to make you smile, bring your joy, make you feel more alive, more healthy and more happy.

So what does Niwa means?

niwa garden

Niwa means simply garden in Japanese 庭 (niwa) and its literal translation means “pure place.” Japanese gardens  are a unique beauty by combining elements of natural plantings,  water and rock, which are often expressions of Shinto and Buddhist beliefs.  Garden designers are sometimes called niwa shi, “garden masters.”
