Meet our new rockstars: Neil and Paul

As you know during last few weeks we have been looking for rockstar engineers and designers to join our team.

After interviewing a tonne of people we finally picked two very talented individuals. It is my pleasure to introduce you to Neil and Paul. But I will let them speak for themselves:

Hey everyone!

neil niwa hydroponicsI’m Neil and I’m going to be refining the user experience for Niwa! We want every aspect of Niwa – from the app, to the products, the online experience and more to absolutely delight users, regardless of what they engage with first. I genuinely could not be more excited to work on such an incredible product, paired with such a passionate, heart-felt team! I think all of us at Niwa, and hopefully all of you, believe in the positive future that we are on a mission to create, where Niwa and products like it are ubiquitous, and everyone has access to fresh, organic food. To me, Niwa seems like one of those rare products that has a genuine shot at changing the world in a big way, and like you, I am SO thrilled to be a part of it!

Previously, I Co-Founded two social/eco startups in the Detroit, MI area, and founded another Michigan-based tech company called Serv. I’m a HUGE film buff (and the biggest Tarantino fan I know), am very nerdy when it comes to anything agro-tech related, and enjoy few things more than a really good cup of tea J My formal background is in Industrial Design and Business Development.

Currently, we’re now in the process of refining the user interface for the app and as well as re-designing the Niwa website. I’m very excited to have such a big pool of amazing backers to be able to share the new designs with, and get your feedback on crucial elements that will make up the future of Niwa!
